Grade I Listed Medieval Manor

This remarkable Grade I-listed medieval manor traces its origins to around 1410.

Its surviving 15th-century tower, trefoil-headed windows and early wings reflect an exceptional level of craftsmanship, enriched over the centuries by sensitive additions – including an early-20th-century extension by the celebrated architect Walter Godfrey. Long admired for its intimate scale and beautiful historic gardens, the house is regarded as one of the area’s most evocative small manors.

AIM is privileged to be carrying out carefully designed alterations and an extension to the 20th-century part of the building, enhancing its functionality while honouring its medieval core and later architectural layers. This project reflects the spirit of our heritage work: thoughtful intervention, deep respect for historic character, and the belief that places shaped over centuries deserve to evolve with care and integrity.

THIS STILL A LIVE PROJECT
